Hillsborough County buying $40 million interface system

Tampa, Florida -- Hillsborough County is in the process of buying a $40 million system that allows departments to interface better with each other.

The bid process is going though the Hillsborough County ERP Joint Steering Committee.

The committee will meet to discuss Request for Proposals #RFP-P-0001-0-2011/JB, which is the $40 million Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.

The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 in Room 2425 of the Tampa Convention Center, 333 South Franklin St. in downtown Tampa.

Active participation in the meeting will be limited to Committee members and advisors.

The meeting which is covered by Florida's Government in the Sunshine Law is open to the public.
