HIllsborough County, Florida-- Celebrate St. Patricks Day by adopting a cat!

All during March, felines one-year and older are offered for the wee cost of just $20 --including spay/neuter surgery, vaccination, micro-chip, and license tag.

Hillsborough County Animal Services on Falkenburg Road is open daily from 10 a.m. until 7 a.m. for adoptions and lost pet searches.

Hillsborough Co., FL-- Extension Service is offering free tax preparation assistance for those who earned $57,000 or less in 2012. Tax filers will be able to access a self-guided tax preparation program and receive assistance, as needed, from an IRS trained and certified volunteer. This free service will be available by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. starting Feb. 5 through April 9.

Riverview, FL-- The Fern Family Farms in Riverview will give out free quarts of strawberries to the public this Saturday and Sunday.

The farm's building is still under construction, but to ensure the berries don't go to waste, they're allowing anyone and everyone to pick up a free quart between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days this weekend.

Any additional berries after the free quart will be available at 50% off!
